BrightStart

This is where entering the world of work starts. Designed as a career pathway for High School leavers, BrightStart helps you explore your unique potential.

Applications open:  5th September – 29th September 2025

About the Program

With Deloitte’s BrightStart program, you don’t have to choose between study and work – you get both!

You’ll join us in a permanent part-time role while completing a full-time, nationally recognised degree that’s part-funded by Deloitte. That means earning a competitive salary, developing valuable skills and gaining real-world experience from day one.

Set yourself up for the future

Alongside your studies, you’ll receive on-the-job training, mentoring, and access to study and exam leave to support your success. And the best part? When you graduate, you could step straight into a full-time role at Deloitte with the experience, confidence, and career foundations that set you apart.

What you can expect

We anticipate our first intake of BrightStarts will join us in February/March 2026.

As one of our BrightStarts, you can expect to work on high-impact, meaningful and purpose-led projects. You’ll get incredible learning opportunities, client exposure and multiple networking opportunities with peers, leaders, and the industry through your hands-on project work.

We’ll provide you with relevant professional training and ongoing feedback from your coach to guide you throughout your program, with the chance to learn from and work with industry professionals across the firm.

Our focus at Deloitte also extends to making a meaningful impact in our communities. Our Deloitte Impact Day and year-round partnerships with local charities and organisations provide you with opportunities to make an impact, whether that be through hands-on or skilled volunteering.

Applications will be open between 5th September – 29th September 2025, via our University partners, whilst the program is in pilot.

This program is only open to Australian/New Zealand Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents.

Please refer to our International Student Opportunities page for full details on our program offering to International Students, including eligibility and how to apply.

This is the final step! Expect to join us for a morning or afternoon where you’ll participate in several activities, from information sessions and networking opportunities to a group exercise and 1:1 interview.
