What will you get to do?

  • Provide audit, advisory, financial reporting and accounting services to public, private and not-for-profit clients. 
  • Apply design-thinking approaches to audit projects.
  • Perform substantive audit testing using data analytics to develop and present annual audit plans and reports.

Supporting the financial services Industry i.e. banking, wealth management, superannuation and insurance.

  • Global Markets (GM)

Serving iconic international brand names from a diverse range of industries, working with Deloitte audit teams around the world.

  • National Strategic (NS)

Serving iconic ASX listed clients from various industries, including retail, energy and resources, technology and healthcare.

  • Private Audit

Serving large and iconic Australian and International private organisations, private equity firms, and non-profit groups. We support our clients through their growth lifecycle, including acquisitions and exit strategies such as trade sales, private equity acquisition, or listing on the Australian Stock Exchange.

  • Finance Assurance - Accounting & Reporting / Accounting Operations

Our teams apply core assurance and technical accounting skills in an assurance or consulting context to assist our clients in managing their operational performance. Our team are specialist advisors in finance function assurance, large accounting transactions and specialised finance outsourcing providing advice across a wide range of industries and various levels of government.

Degrees: Accounting (Major or Minor).

  • Governance Regulation & Conduct (GRC)

We specialise in supporting our clients on governance, regulatory compliance, and retail conduct risk matters predominately within the Wealth Management, Banking, Credit, Superannuation and Insurance industries.

Degrees: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, STEM, Psychology.

  • A&A Operate

Our team designs and leads large-scale operations for private and public sector clients. We're known for delivering Australia's largest financial services remediation programs, grant assessments, finance managed services, motor industry services, financial crime operations and customer response operations. If you have the desire to learn the craft of operational leadership and solve complex problems, A&A Operate is the place for you.

Degrees: Arts, Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Law, STEM.

  • Treasury & Capital Markets (TCM)

Australia's largest publicly-owned companies, private businesses and the three tiers of government. Our banking, government and corporate client service offerings are delivered by a team of specialists through both advisory and audit channels.

Our differentiated support covers all aspects of treasury and financial risk management including governance, controls, regulatory advice, accounting for derivatives, treasury technology, global cash management, outsourced accounting, model validation, credit provisioning and internal/external audit support to name a few.

Our Payments Advisory consulting team blends global payments industry expertise with core strategy consulting skills to assist Australian and global payment executives gain advantage, improve performance, protect their business and commit to delivering disruptive innovations and strategic transformation.

We assist our clients navigate complex challenges that range from executing on industry-wide transformation needs, responding to market dynamics, optimising for efficiency and scale, exploring new business models driven by global innovation and offering leading customer experiences.   • Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)

We develop and deliver service offerings related to Environmental, Social and
Governance (ESG) and Climate and Sustainability. Using our specialist skills and global reach we help our clients navigate the rapidly evolving ESG disclosure and reporting requirements, tailored to their specific needs and vision, with a view to generating sustainable improvements in their ESG monitoring and reporting. We provide audit and advisory services to clients seeking to uplift their ESG capabilities, climate governance, reporting readiness and assurance ESG reporting.

Degrees: Environmental Science, Climate & Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Biodiversity and/or Accounting, Finance.

Analytics Solutions

Our A&A Analytics Solutions team uses a combination of data insights, modelling, digital technologies, machine learning and automation to transform and re-imagine audit processes. We're absolute data nerds and love working with numbers and large data sets (the more unstructured, the better!).

What will you get to do?

  • Attend client meetings to scope problems, and subsequently clarify and refine requirements.
  • Transform and analyse client data, developing your ability to use analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau and R.
  • Learn or develop your programming skills in languages like Python, C# or JavaScript while enhancing our analytics platform.

Degrees: Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Data Analytics, Data Science.

Technology Controls

IT systems and networks are integral to a business's success. In today’s corporate landscape, IT ecosystems are becoming increasingly complex. With greater complexity, comes greater risk. That’s why our team exists. Working with our Finance Audit team, we assist our clients to understand their controls maturity that govern their IT systems in the support of financial risks.

What will you get to do?

  • Liaise with clients to understand their business processes, system interfaces, and IT infrastructure.
  • Investigate and confirm if the client’s IT controls are designed and implemented effectively to address specific financial audit risks.
  • Help the team ensure controls align with industry standards and best practices.

Degrees: Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science.

*Please note: Study support for the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is provided for graduate roles within our Technology Audit team.
