Meet Harrison Vanags, a graduate of our Business Tax Advisory – ASX & Multinationals team in Tax & Legal. Harrison shares with us his journey to Deloitte and what his graduate year has been like.

Harrison’s path to Deloitte has been driven by his passion for numbers and a desire to tackle complex financial challenges. In his journey so far, what stands out is his commitment to a role that balances both compliance and advisory work. On the compliance side, Harrison prepares and submits income tax returns and manages regulatory requirements to ensure clients meet their obligations. On the advisory side, he offers tailored advice to help clients navigate intricate tax regulations and optimise their financial strategies. The variety in his work keeps every day dynamic and full of learning opportunities.

Outside of work, Harrison leads an active, well-rounded life. He’s passionate about staying fit—whether playing in his local soccer team, hitting the gym, or trying out a new sport, the physical challenge energises him. Equally important, he treasures quality time with family and friends, which helps him stay grounded and connected. When the chance arises, Harrison loves to travel, exploring new destinations, cultures, and cuisines to gather fresh perspectives and inspiration.
