Meet Chika Nadilla, a graduate of our Global Markets & Private team in Audit & Assurance. Chika shares with us her journey from university to Deloitte and what her graduate year has been like.
Chika began her journey at Deloitte as a graduate in the Audit division, focusing specifically on Global Markets & Private. "I chose Deloitte because of its strong reputation for a collaborative culture and the exciting opportunities offered through the graduate program," she explains. "The chance to work with a diverse range of clients in such a dynamic environment felt like the perfect place to grow professionally while being part of a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere."
In her role, Chika audits clients' financial statements—primarily for those in the real estate sector. "My work involves reviewing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights that help improve financial reporting," she says. "This is crucial for maintaining investor confidence and supporting informed decision-making." A typical week is varied: she spends most of her time working on audits, interacts directly with clients to gather information and address concerns, participates in team discussions to problem-solve challenges, and regularly engages in e-learning sessions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Chika is passionate about wellbeing and makes it a priority in her life. Outside of work, she enjoys doing reformer Pilates and spending time at the beach. "Pilates helps me stay physically strong and centred, while the beach gives me a chance to unwind and recharge," she shares. These activities help her maintain a healthy balance, keeping both her mind and body in a positive space.

Deloitte offers incredible support for growth and career development—a factor that has been instrumental in Chika's journey. She has benefitted from a blend of structured learning and on-the-job experience. "I’ve had access to a wide variety of learning resources, from technical training on auditing standards to leadership development programs," she explains. Chika is also progressing in the CA program, which balances technical training with practical experience, and appreciates the coaching and mentorship provided by senior team members. "The actionable feedback and career advice from my mentors have been key in helping me tackle more complex projects and grow," she adds. Opportunities for secondments further allow her to gain a broader perspective and build new relationships.
Chika describes the culture at Deloitte as collaborative, inclusive, and supportive. "People work together as a team, and there’s a strong focus on mentorship and leadership support," she says. "It’s a safe environment that values diverse perspectives and ensures everyone feels respected. There’s a clear sense of purpose in the work we do, which makes it really fulfilling."
While she hasn’t had the chance to use Deloitte Flex yet, Chika is excited about the potential of the International-Flex opportunity in the future. "The ability to work in my home country, Indonesia, is something I’m really looking forward to," she explains. "It would allow me to connect with family and bring a global perspective to my work."
