​​Building Trans Inclusive Workplaces​

​​How we're removing barriers, so everyone grows

​​As an AWEI Platinum Employer, we set out to enhance the experiences of transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse employees. Read our report to learn about three key "Moments that matter", the impact these moments can have, and important considerations for fostering trans inclusion in your organisation.​

This report outlines our journey toward creating a more inclusive environment for trans employees both at Deloitte and across the business community. While there have been positive shifts in trans rights globally, many significant barriers remain. People with a trans experience are often less likely to be out, engaged, or feel safe at work compared to those with a diverse sexual orientation.

Our vision is to help create inclusive workplaces for trans and gender diverse people everywhere. Key steps we are taking at Deloitte include formalising our Gender Affirmation Policy, increasing our gender affirmation paid leave allowance to 4 weeks, and establishing a Trans Champion Program.

Through these initiatives, we hope to not only remove barriers and improve the experience for our trans employees but also guide other organisations on their inclusion journey.
