"I learnt so much during the course of the Vac Work week, specifically with regard to the different industries. I have a clearer idea of what career path I'd like to follow.

What stood out for me was having the opportunity to see the models of projects the team were working on. It helped me to better understand the connection between the work I do at university and how it can be applied in a work setting.

Everyone from the Deloitte team made us feel welcome and comfortable to ask questions which were answered very honestly. I am grateful to have been able to get a glimpse of everyday life at Deloitte. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity."

Our ideal VIBE candidates are university students who we would ultimately consider for our graduate programmes.

"The Vac Work Programme was very informative and helpful. As a student, it is difficult to fully understand what the working world will be like and it can become demoralising to keep studying. However, the Vac Work week has given me a better idea of what to expect of being an actuary in a professional capacity. It was also interesting to see how much variety there is within the profession. There seems to be space for everyone to work with their own special skills and interests, and to get exposure to a variety of projects."
