Siliziwe Kwakhona Mafika is a Partner at Deloitte Africa and a Leader in Financial Services (across Banking and Insurance) in Africa. He specialises in shaping and executing Pan-African banking strategies, including market entry, operating model design, and transformation programs that bring strategy to life. His work spans client experience enhancement, core banking modernisation, and the development of clear and robust execution and value plans.
Siliziwe has led complex, multi-country programs focused on operational excellence, change management, value realisation, and financial modelling—ensuring that strategic ambitions translate into measurable outcomes. His deep understanding of banking transactional and operational processes has enabled him to craft business and functional requirements for core banking platforms in some of Africa’s largest banks.
Siliziwe uses analytics to drive fact-based decisions and for building detailed operating models and operations that support sustainable growth.
In addition to his Financial Services leadership, Siliziwe is also a leader in Deloitte Africa's Finance Transformation team, where he focuses on optimising and transforming finance functions to unlock value and improve performance across large organisations. He leads the firm's faculty for CFO and Finance Transitions.
