Siliziwe Kwakhona Mafika is the Leader of Deloitte Africa’s CFO Programme, where he works closely with Chief Financial Officers and senior finance executives across the continent to help them define future fit finance strategies, and strengthen finance capabilities. Through the programme, he brings together leading CFOs to address the strategic, operational, and transformational challenges facing finance leaders today.
A trusted advisor to many of Africa's leading finance executives, Siliziwe has worked with more than 60 CFOs across a broad range of industries, helping them enhance business performance, improve decision-making, strengthen finance function effectiveness, and deliver enterprise-wide impact. He is an experienced facilitator of Deloitte's CFO and Finance Labs and has led more than 40 executive sessions for some of the firm's most important clients across Africa, helping leadership teams articulate clear strategic visions and translate them into practical, executable roadmaps.
Siliziwe is a member in Deloitte Africa's Finance Transformation practice, where he specialises in Finance Strategy, Finance Operating Models, and Finance Transformation.
He supports CFOs and finance leaders in modernising finance functions, improving financial performance, and building capabilities that enable organisations to make more intelligent, data-driven decisions.
He is also a Partner in Deloitte's Financial Services Consulting practice and leads a key Financial Services client account. His experience spans banking and insurance, with particular expertise in strategy development, market entry, operating model design, customer experience transformation, and large-scale business transformation programmes across Africa.
Siliziwe has led strategy and operations engagements across 19 African countries, bringing a genuinely Pan-African perspective to his work. He has also contributed to the development economics landscape, including supporting the development of Afreximbank's Intra-African Trade Strategy, an initiative that continues to support the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
