Suren is a director and the chief operating officer for the Deloitte Africa Tax & Legal practice. In his previous role as global business tax services leader, Suren coordinated efforts of the heads of the following business units: Business Tax, Mergers and Acquisition, as well as Global Investment and Innovation Incentives. Suren joined Deloitte in 1998 in the Durban office. Having completed his articles in the Durban office in 2001 he opted to join the Corporate Tax Department in the Woodlands office. He progressed very quickly and was promoted to Assistant Manager in 2003, Manager in 2004, Senior Manager in 2005 an Associate Director in 2006.
