Olumide Esan

Olumide is a versatile Business Adviser with over 20 years of professional experience working with KPMG, ConocoPhillip, Shell and Deloitte. His key area of expertise includes international fiscal rules, petroleum contracts negotiations, transfer pricing, tax advocacy, dispute resolution, internal control, general finance and Oil & Gas Value Chain business advisory. Olumide has a deep insight and hands-on experience in managing upstream and midstream asset divestments, integrated gas, deep water, onshore assets and power plant projects. He brings to bear a broad industry experience from handling complex and multi-jurisdictional exploration and production projects. He has been involved several acquisition and divestment projects across different jurisdictions and has served as adviser on both seller and buyer sides of the deals at different times. As an international Tax manager with Shell International Limited UK, Olumide had Tax responsibilities for several Shell operations in East, West and Southern Africa.

Olumide has worked with the Oil and Gas Associations in different African countries to shape oil and gas related legislations covering topics such as abandonment provisions, petroleum contracts and withholding Tax.
