Omar Ally is a manager within Deloitte South Africa’s Risk Advisory practice. Having graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2014, he joined Deloitte the following year where he has been since. His experience has led him to work across business functions and geographies within Deloitte and its member firms. Omar has invaluable experience in the Smart Real Estate and Smart Cities space. He helped pioneer solutions for clients whereby they are able to derive value and a return on investment on from their real estate. Omar has managed to blend his experience of risk, smart cities and smart real estate, and technology by helping create cyber security solutions in the emerging technology space. Omar has delivered on numerous projects across many industries including smart cities and smart real estate, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing and more.
