Nokwazi is an indirect tax senior manager in the Deloitte Africa Tax & Legal team in South Africa, bringing over a decade of experience in customs and global trade.
She advises multinational clients on customs compliance, import/export controls, tariff classification, valuation, and origin rules.
Nokwazi leads teams in conducting customs health checks, risk assessments, and implementing trade optimisation strategies for operational efficiency and cost savings. She also manages complex client engagements, including customs audits, dispute resolution, and voluntary disclosures, and helps clients navigate regulatory changes and evolving trade policy landscapes.
Nokwazi holds a Bachelor ‘s in Financial Management and an Honours in Taxation. She is also an accredited Tax Adviser with the South Africa Institute of Taxation.
