Mark has spent over 4 decades in the Global Markets and Corporate Treasury environment as a Group Treasurer.
In the course of managing Treasury and foreign payments at SABMiller, Naspers and others, he has been through multiple changes in the Exchange Control and later the Financial Surveillance regulatory environment. In the course of his career, he has presented structures for approval to the Reserve Bank on many occasions for projects, investments, and trademark licencing agreements.
He is a past Chairman of the Association of Corporate Treasurers of South Africa, and a past member of the S.A. Reserve Bank Foreign Exchange Markets Committee.
