Kavita is Chartered Accountant and Partner in the Audit and Assurance business at Deloitte Africa, specialising in Accounting and Financial Advisory, internal controls, digital finance transformation.
She has been with the Deloitte Africa member firm for more than 15 years serving clients across various industries, with a specific focus on the technology, media and telecoms (TMT) industry. She has served the Vodacom Group, in various roles ranging from external audit, internal controls and various Digital Finance initiatives.
Her key areas of expertise include assisting private and public sector clients with the assessment of, adoption, transition and implementation of new and existing IFRS and GRAP, specialist IFRS support to audit clients and business process reviews and assessments.
More recently, Kavita has been appointed the Audit Service Line Leader within the TMT Industry. Kavita also leads the Women in TMT community which is an initiative to empower growth and opportunities for Women in the TMT industry.
