Jyoti is a qualified chartered accountant and has 20 years of experience in the auditing and assurance profession. She has for the last 11 years specialised in providing sustainability assurance and advisory services to a cross sector of clients and industries. She has dedicated experience in providing external assurance in terms of ISAE 3000 and ISAE 3410 on non-financial information. From an advisory point, she has assisted client in sustainability reporting in terms of the frameworks and impact measurement. Prior, she was positioned in focusing on audit and assurance technical matters.
Jyoti is a member of the IRBA Sustainability Standing Committee. The responsibilities of the committee include developing guidance for auditors performing sustainability engagements and assurance of integrated reports. As part of this committee Jyoti has developed an illustrative assurance report and engagement letter to be used in sustainability assurance engagements.
Jyoti’s aim is to enhance and add credibility to client’s business and related processes. She achieves this through applying her technical assurance and stakeholder relational knowledge and skills to ensure that quality is maintained balanced with best practice insights.
