Johnathan is the Africa M&A Leader, and he leads the South African Corporate Finance business in Deloitte Africa’s Consulting Services practice. He has over 16 years of M&A experience advising on deals ranging from complex capital restructurings to cross border buy- and sell-side mandates.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Johnathan was a partner in PwC’s Corporate Finance division specialising in M&A and debt advisory. In addition, he spent time in London working for a leading professional services firm in Corporate Finance and worked in the private sector as an interim CFO of a leading financial services company.
Johnathan is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
