Gregor joined the Deloitte Turnaround & Restructuring team in September 2019 with 10 years of experience both in the European and South African restructuring industry. Has worked both as an operational restructuring consultant supporting Chief Restructuring Officers as well as a restructuring advisor for the Big 4. His experience covers advising of stressed and distressed clients (especially in the industrial, recycling and metal sectors) in the areas of restructuring and turnaround, liquidity forecasting and management as well as stakeholder management.
Gregor has worked on key transactions supporting both lenders and corporates in a number of restructuring mandates, with recent experiences including:
Providing focused business review services for the Southern African operations of an international automotive supplier to support contract discussions with a major German car manufacturer;
Led the independent business review of a listed telecom subsidiary in West Africa to assist in the restructuring of individual tranches of a syndicated loan facility, including term sheet negotiation support with international lenders;
Distressed M&A sell-side mandate for the insolvency administrator of one of the world’s leading manufacturers of solar mounting systems (sales > EUR 275m);
Restructuring opinion to support in refinancing/ securing of new financing (volume > EUR 100m), negotiation support with EU anti-trust commission for one of Europe’s largest lead and zinc recycling players (sales > EUR 500m).
