Gilbert is an Associate Director in Deloitte West Africa’s Tax and Regulatory practice, with over 15 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory services.
His expertise spans tax audits, business tax compliance, tax due diligence for major mergers and acquisitions, tax health reviews and high-level tax reviews. He has significant experience delivering tax consultancy services across a broad range of industries, including the energy and extractives sectors, insurance, financial institutions (banking and non-banking), telecommunications, and manufacturing.
In his role, Gilbert advises clients on developments in tax legislation, provides guidance on the appropriate structuring and reporting of transactions, and offers strategic recommendations for tax planning and optimisation.
Gilbert is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (Ghana). He also is an Associate of the Institute of Directors, Ghana.
