Darren is an accomplished Senior Partner with over three decades of financial services industry experience and a track record of driving optimal standards of quality and efficiency via motivational leadership, astute strategic development and robust operational management.  Darren brings proven skills in audit management, bid leadership, project management, client relationship management and leading the delivery of impactful advisory services as well as being adept in empowering board-level decision makers via insightful analysis and clear and accurate reporting.

Darren was appointed the Lead Engagement Partner on Nedbank Group Limited from 2008 to 2012 FirstRand Group Limited from 2015 until 2019 and is currently the Lead Engagement Partner on Capitec Bank Holdings Limited. Darren currently leads the firm’s advisory offerings to ABSA and Investec.

Darren is the Africa Financial Services Industry Leader. As the FSI Leader, Darren is responsible for the strategy of the firm’s FS industry; growing the revenue to new heights, ensuring FSI maintains a balanced client portfolio across audit and advisory and all sectors of FSI, building new alliances, continuing to transform the FSI team and ensuring succession plans are implemented. Darren has strong, well-established relationships across all the regions in Africa and with the Global FSI community. Darren also has a strong market presence and is well known and respected by industry leaders and the Prudential Authority, a key stakeholder of this industry.
