Claire is an associate director in our South African Sale & Purchase Agreement (SPA) team within Transaction Services (part of Financial Advisory). Claire specialises in advising on the cash accounting implications of the transaction agreements being negotiated and, together with our client's legal advisors, developing contractual solutions to accounting or commercial issues identified through the various due diligence exercises. This includes purchase price adjustments mechanisms, the structure of accounting policies for completion accounts, accounting warranties and assisting client’s with the preparation/review and agreement of the completion accounts. Claire has advised clients across a wide range of industries and geographic regions.
