Ayanda is an indirect tax manager in the Deloitte Africa Tax & Legal team in South Africa. She has over 14 years of value-added tax (VAT) experience and more than a decade as an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
Ayanda specialises in advising national and multinational clients on VAT planning, compliance reviews, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution across various industries. Her experience also includes conducting VAT health checks, due diligence, managing SARS audits and verifications, submitting VAT rulings, and handling voluntary disclosures.
She holds a Bachelor of Philosophy, an LLB, and a Master’s in Law specialising in Taxation. Ayanda is a Master Tax Practitioner registered with the South African Institute of Taxation, as well as a Tax Practitioner registered with the South African Revenue Service.
