Each year, Deloitte publishes Tracking the Trends, which discusses the forces that will be shaping the mining and metals sector for the next 12 months. 2024 sees the publication of the 16th edition, and in this two-part series, we'll chat with a number of Deloitte specialists for more insights into the report. The series was recorded in the Greenhouse at Deloitte's Cape Town office, as part of the Investing in African Mining Indaba. This is episode 1, in which we take a high-level look at the report, as well as the themes of unlocking value, and how the sector can prepare itself for the move to Net Zero.
