Kate Hardin is the executive director for the Deloitte Research Center for Energy & Industrials. In tandem with Deloitte’s energy, resources, and industrials leadership, she drives energy research initiatives and manages the execution of the center’s strategy as well as its eminence and thought leadership.

Rick has a history of working with clients to align signature industry issues with solutions that innovate, transform, and create improved operational and financial performance.

He has more than 30 years of experience in industry and consulting, leading and delivering business transformations, operational improvements, digital programs, M&A, and cost reduction programs with a focus on supply chain, operations and maintenance, and projects. His Deloitte leadership roles have included Deloitte Consulting Energy & Chemicals Sector Leader, Deloitte Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) Consulting Sales Excellence, ER&I Consulting in Southeast Asia, global ER&I supply chain and operations and vice chair and US energy and chemicals leader. 

Tom Keefe is the vice chair and US power, utilities, and renewables sector leader, with a keen understanding of sector trends. His focus areas include utility generation and distribution, gas transmission–related midstream activities, and storage, as well as nuclear generation, independent power production, and renewable energy. He is also a partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he has led many large energy clients.

Steve Shepley is a vice chair and US industrial products and construction sector leader. He understands and has insight into the trends that can impact highly engineered product manufacturing companies and help drive performance improvements.

As the US Chief Client Officer, Kelly leads Deloitte’s client engagement strategy, delivering outcomes-oriented consulting services to clients across its six industries and private equity businesses. In this role, Kelly advances Deloitte’s IndustryAdvantage™ capabilities and go-to-market strategy, develops the industry depth of Deloitte’s US professionals, as well as defines and executes Deloitte's US consulting business and innovation agenda.

Kelly is a principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP. Previously, Kelly served as Deloitte’s US Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry Leader, leading the industry practice’s strategy and collaborating with client services teams to drive value. Prior to that, Kelly served as the leader for Deloitte’s US SAP practice and alliance teams – helping clients activate intelligent, cloud-enabled technologies and working with SAP to reimagine client solutions through co-innovation.

She brings 25 years of experience leading global ERP-enabled business transformations for clients across industries. She currently serves as the Business Transformation Executive Sponsor for a portfolio of clients, advising C-suite leaders on transformation strategy, program governance, and execution to help organizations navigate complex change.

Kelly is an innovator and value-generation leader, having presented in marketplace forums such as the World Economic Forum, the Consumer Electronics Show, SAP Sapphire, and various other industry panels. She is passionate about building the next generation of leaders, working with Texas Christian University’s MBA Consulting Advisory Group, and supporting children and STEM education through the Ella Project.
