NEW YORK, NY, USA, 15 February 2022—Gartner, a company that delivers actionable, objective insight to its executive and their teams, named Deloitte a Leader for the eighth consecutive year in its February 2022 report titled, Magic Quadrant for Data and Analytics Service Providers. Deloitte was positioned for its ability to execute on behalf of Deloitte clients. Deloitte also received the highest score in two Use Cases in 2022 Gartner® Critical Capabilities for Data and Analytics Service Providers including Strategy and Consulting and Data Science and AI/ML.
“At Deloitte, our strategy led and value focussed approach to AI successfully guides clients around the world to execute complex business and AI-fueled transformations,” says Costi Perricos, Deloitte Global AI & Data Leader. “We are honored to receive this recognition from Gartner once again and remain eager to continue serving our global client base with our end-to-end AI offerings that drive impact.”
The Magic Quadrant assessment evaluated 18 data and analytics services providers. According to Gartner, “The Magic Quadrant establishes the competencies of decision management capabilities, analytics capabilities and information management capabilities within the broader expectations of what a full-service provider offers. Such offerings include strategy consulting; a blend of process, industry, application and technology; programme and project management skills; and organisational change management.”
Leaders are defined by Gartner as those who, “provide offerings that meet demand in data & analytics (D&A) services and demonstrate the vision necessary to sustain their position as requirements for asset-based consulting and services evolve in the market. Leaders innovate in products, services and pricing, take chances and typically respond to a wide market audience by supporting broad market requirements in an attempt to help shape the market. This includes delivering business-outcome-focussed D&A solutions across all core capabilities. However, Leaders may fail to meet the specific needs of more specialised segments (for example, technology, application, geographic and process segments).”
“Deloitte’s deep industry knowledge coupled with emerging AI capabilities are accelerating our clients’ journeys to become AI-fueled organisations,” says Nitin Mittal, US AI Co-leader, Deloitte Consulting LLP. “These capabilities and Deloitte’s innovative global ecosystem relationships enable Deloitte to shape new markets and address market demand.”
“We remain committed to investing in the development of talent for Deloitte and the marketplace to help bridge technical AI competencies with domain knowledge,” says Irfan Saif, US AI Co-leader, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “Deloitte looks forward to continuing to provide insights into where the market is headed and educate clients to power the future of business and drive sustainable outcomes.”
