Law on ratification of the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters
We hereby wish to inform you that on 22 July 2019, the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia has adopted Law on ratification of the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters. The Convention expands the number of the countries with which Serbia may exchange tax information.
It is expected that Republic of Serbia will deposit the ratification document with the Organization for economic cooperation and development in the following period. The Convention will come into force for Serbia at the expiry of three months from the date the ratification document is deposited with the OECD. Considering the undertaken commitments, it is expected that the Convection will come into force as of 1 December 2019, and that it will be applicable as of 1 January 2020.
More detailed information on the Convection will be provided in the coming period.
