Throughout 2024, Deloitte again had the privilege of working closely with Scatec to support their climate and sustainability work. Over the past years, our collaboration has evolved, each year bringing new and compelling challenges.

Throughout 2024, Deloitte again had the privilege of working closely with Scatec to support their climate and sustainability work. Over the past years, our collaboration has evolved, each year bringing new and compelling challenges. With 2024 marking the first year of ESRS audits and adding a layer of complexity, Scatec has been diligently staying ahead of developments. Being a forerunner in both net zero transition and sustainability reporting, Scatec is navigating a landscape that is both time-consuming, constantly evolving, and complex. Deloitte has supported this journey by providing additional resources, industry experience and subject matter expertise.
Today we are building on the foundation laid in previous years, such as the double materiality assessment, the Net Zero Roadmap and a continuously evolving climate reporting. In 2024, our work has focused on climate and the changes brought on by CSRD. This entails support in the continuous work on rolling out and finding financing opportunities for the Net Zero Roadmap, updating the climate risk assessment in line with reporting requirements, improving GHG accounting and its structures, and advising on how to evolve with updated regulatory requirements relevant to Scatec’s climate work.
Deloitte has been a great support to us to continue pushing our sustainability agenda and level of professionalism. Their extensive network of specialists and dedicated people make them a valuable partner in this rapidly evolving ESG landscape. We have especially appreciated their flexible and tailored approach - to meet us exactly where we are and with what we need.
Julie Hamre, VP Sustainability Reporting & Strategy
It is an honor to work with sustainability at Scatec. This is a company where the transition to a net-zero society is the cornerstone of the business. In addition, Scatec has high ambitions to reduce the climate impact and enhance sustainability performance of the company's activities. Here, active work is being done both with concrete initiatives and further improvement of reporting related to sustainability.
Marte Osen, Project Manager from Deloitte
Deloitte is very proud to work with a company such as Scatec, where sustainability is implemented in everything they do. Scatec is already known for their work in Norway, and this year, they were also featured in Time Magazine's list of the Most Sustainable Companies of 2024 (ranking 99 out of 600). We see this as a great opportunity to apply practical knowledge, but also work side-by-side with an industry pioneer in sustainability.
It is important to note that the work with sustainability is never finished, and there will always be room for improvement. Deloitte will follow Scatec in their efforts with climate and sustainability going forward. We look forward to seeing what the future holds and how we can continue to drive meaningful impact together.
