Johannes is the Managing Partner for Energy, Resources, and Industrial Products in North and South Europe at Deloitte. He also serves as the Lead Client Service Partner for one of Europe’s major energy companies and is the Lead Partner for Deloitte’s Global Offshore Oil & Gas Centre of Excellence, where he focuses on optimizing core operations. With over 20 years of experience working in the energy, natural resources, and industrial sectors, Johannes has successfully overseen projects that have generated significant and measurable results, directly improving the bottom line.
In recent years, Johannes has emerged as a prominent writer, speaker, and facilitator, tackling key dilemmas and challenges while identifying opportunities to help clients navigate the energy transition toward a low-carbon economy. Collaborating closely with Deloitte's global think tank, the Center for the Edge, Johannes regularly engages in C-suite dialogues to address critical challenges faced by companies during the energy transition. His work emphasizes turning societal challenges, such as climate change and the energy transition, into business opportunities within the low-carbon economy.
Johannes holds a PhD in System Dynamics from the University of Bergen, Norway.
