Impact Foundation

With our Impact Foundation, we share our expertise, knowledge, and network with Dutch non-profit organisations. We support both small and large initiatives that truly matter pro bono to enhance their social impact. In this way, we actively contribute to a better society.

How we make an impact

We concrete our efforts in three key areas:

Sustainability

We care about our planet and want to leave a healthy world for future generations.  With this in mind, we support NGOs and work on projects that aim to tackle big environmental issues including global warming and pollution. We are investing our efforts in initiatives such as the Ocean Clean-Up, WWF and Klimaatadaptief. 

Inclusive Society

We aim to contribute to a society that works for everyone. Within this framework, we support organizations tackling complex issues such as poverty, equal rights, mental health, and loneliness. One of the ways we do this is through our partnership with the Voedselbank. It's about more than just providing food; it's about fighting poverty and improving our local communities. It's about giving hope and showing people they're not alone. 

Another example of our efforts is the Financial Health programme, which aims to enhance financial well-being and reduce financial stress by 50% by 2030. Key initiatives include the Financial Health Check, developed in collaboration with NIBUD and Rabobank, allowing individuals to assess their financial health. In partnership with NIBUD and Leiden University, Deloitte conducts annual research, surveying 5,000 households to monitor financial health, the fourth report was published in March 2025.

Additionally, the National Coalition for Financial Health (NCFG), led by Deloitte, ING, and SchuldenlabNL, addresses workplace financial issues. Deloitte’s CEO Hans Honig chaired the coalition in 2023, with ING taking over in 2024. Through these initiatives, we strive to create a more inclusive and supportive society.

WorldClass

A Deloitte Global initiative with the ambition of supporting 100 million people worldwide by 2030. Our NL WorldClass Program focuses on improving equal opportunities for vulnerable young people in education, especially in primary, secondary, and vocational education in the larger cities of the Netherlands. Under the program’s umbrella, we want to reach at least 30.000 people in the Netherlands every year. Our program collaborates with ten organizations dedicated to improving equal opportunities in education, helping them professionalize and scale their efforts. Additionally, we engage directly with children through workshops delivered by our colleagues. Our efforts include:

  • JINC, 
  • Building Bots with Kids
  • Scaling Social Enterprises.

How we work

Employee led iniatives

At Deloitte, we recognize that our most valuable resource is our people and their talents. We therefore actively encourage our colleagues to in initiating projects that supports non-profit organizations they are passionate about, fostering positive change throughout the Netherlands. To ensure accountability and acknowledge efforts, our people can use a professional time code to log the hours when they contribute to these projects.

Collaborative initiatives

Furthermore, we believe in the transformative power of collaborative effort. We understand that our individual actions, when combined with those of other groups and organizations, can result in maximizing our efforts, far-reaching and enduring impact. Through strategic alliances and collaborative efforts, we have established what we refer to as our "top-down" programs, working synergistically to make a societal impact.
