Varunendra (Varun) Singh is a Director in Deloitte’s Strategy & Transactions team with more than 15 years’ experience across Northern Europe and international markets. An engineer by background and an MBA, he combines his operational insights with strategic and commercial expertise to deliver implementable strategies to drive scalable value and provide critical due diligence advisory in the Energy and Maritime sectors.
In the energy sector he advises investors, developers and utilities on M&A strategy and commercial due diligence across the value chain — including offshore wind, CCS, power & gas, waste to energy, grid technologies and energy software. In maritime sector he works on ports, vessel systems, emissions technologies and related equipment and services, delivering market studies and commercial assessments. Across both sectors his core skills are market and competitor analysis, bid and transaction support, FID and commercial strategy, and pragmatic post deal value creation.
