Over the past 20+ years, Randy has advised executives and leaders on strategy-driven transformations of several Fortune 500 clients in the ingredient supplier, consumer products, agriculture, and food retail sectors.
Randy is the author of many thought leadership pieces on necessary food transformations, including alternative proteins, food waste, and nature-positive food systems. In addition, he is a sought-after speaker at events and webinars such as the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute, Food Ingredients Europe, Financial Times and Bridge2Food.
Before coming to the Netherlands, he was lucky enough to 3.5 years in Shanghai, China, and 3 years in Sydney, Australia, where he worked for a range of multinational companies in the Asia-Pacific region. China, in particular, emphasized what a digital future can look like and its change on companies' business models and go-to-market strategies.
His in-depth skills and experience include: business and business unit strategy, channel and digital strategy, market (entry) strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), customer segmentation, pricing and trading conditions optimization, marketing and sales effectiveness, merchandising and go-to-market capabilities, data analysis, store performance optimization, store location and format planning, business model design, KPI dashboards and program management.
