I have always been energized by providing insights and guidance in complex (crisis) situations within a challenging (international) stakeholder landscape. In my over 35 years work experience I have seen all sides of the table. Started as an auditor, was twice CFO, owned my own company and realized I am at best in a professional service environment. As a restructuring professional I could make an impact for all stakeholders of distressed companies.
As COO and member of the executive board of Deloitte in the Netherlands I had a focus on data driven continuous performance improvement, our own responsibility towards climate and our Deloitte Impact Foundation, creating opportunities to further increase the impact of Deloitte on our clients, our people and society at large.
After 8 years of primarily internal management roles of which 4 years as executive board member, I returned to the restructuring practice.
