Oscar Kraan

Oscar is a director at Monitor Deloitte, the strategy practice of Deloitte in the Netherlands, and leads the Future of Energy topic within Deloitte. He has more than 15 years of experience supporting governments and companies in the energy sector to navigate the Future of Energy. Oscar joined Deloitte in 2018, where he has worked on developing decarbonisation strategies and the emerging hydrogen market. He also co-leads Deloitte’s Global Center of Excellence for Low Carbon Solutions. Before Deloitte, Oscar obtained his PhD on energy transition scenarios. Before and during his PhD, he spent six years at Shell, working with Shell’s Scenario Team and New Energies Strategy Team.
