Maarten Oonk, Director of New Business for EMEA at the Deloitte Center for the Edge, is an expert in transformation, disruptive change, and exponential technologies. At Deloitte’s Center for the Edge, he helps senior executives understand and capitalize on emerging opportunities at the intersection of business and technology. His passion is primarily fueled by areas such as Additive Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, and Autonomous Driving. Before joining Deloitte, Maarten worked for over 7 years at TNO, a renowned R&D and technology institute. At TNO, he led the Transport & Logistics industry team. Additionally, he chaired various international working groups on vehicle automation and served as a delegate to the European Commission on international harmonisation and transport R&D. Furthermore, Maarten has 10 years of experience in international business development in the fields of high-tech, mobility, and supply chain management. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from the University of Twente.
