News Release

Gartner defines “Oracle Cloud Applications (OCA) services as only those services associated with the Oracle Cloud Applications products. To qualify, each provider project must have an ‘anchoring’ OCA product from at least one of the products identified in the Oracle Cloud Excellence Implementer (CEI) Program on the Oracle PartnerNetwork website.”

NEW YORK, NY, USA, 4 June 2020—Gartner, the world’s leading information technology and advisory company, named Deloitte a Leader in its May 2020 report titled, Magic Quadrant for Oracle Cloud Applications Services, Worldwide. Deloitte also received scores within the highest two in assessment and strategy, implementation – complex and optimisation and management in Gartner’s May 2020 report titled, Critical Capabilities for Oracle Cloud Applications Services, Worldwide.

“Deloitte’s clients’ adoption of Oracle Cloud Applications is pushing them to transition to new operating models focussed on continuous digital business transformation,” says Jeffrey Davis, Deloitte Global Oracle leader. “Through our strong relationship with Oracle and our industry and domain expertise, we’re proud to offer a world class ‘one-stop-shop’ to guide clients as they undertake complex digital transformations.”

On the market, the Magic Quadrant report explains, “The best vendors start with and justify the cloud journey to the business leaders, with a focus on innovation. Value is based on not only reducing the technology delivery cost, but also creating new customers or revenue streams or gaining business operational efficiencies. Using managed services is not only ‘keeping the lights on,’ but also driving yet more business value through the incorporation and use of continuous updates.”

Regarding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on market and future of OCA adoption, Gartner writes in the Magic Quadrant report, “The COVID-19 pandemic is currently changing all future forecasts for IT investment, but one likely outcome will be a greater focus on digital transformation and for organisations to invest their scarce IT funds into ‘bringing the future forward.’”
