Chijioke Odo

He is an international trade advisor who brings over 14 years of experience working across the continent supporting private organizations on trade optimization strategies through integrated advisory projects which bring together automation of trade processes, compliance, export controls, excises, litigation, valuation, origin, classification, and data analytics.

Chijioke has a deep understanding of the customs legislation across several jurisdictions and has consulted for customs administrations in the capacity of subject matter expert in customs modernization programmes. He has particularly helped in drafting core business processes, both in terms of the existing business processes as well as the redesign for optimal revenue collection. 

Chijioke’s expertise cuts across the public sector, manufacturing, automotive, consumer, technology, and telecommunication industries and is experienced in terms of the WCO SAFE Framework of Standards, WCO Convention on Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedure, WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement, and other customs processes from a WCO perspective.
