On Thursday, 5 June 2025, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Hon. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, presented the 2025/26 National budget, themed “From Abyss to Prosperity”. Confronting a legacy of high debt and fiscal instability, the budget outlines a strategic plan built on three pillars:

  • Fiscal Consolidation
