A Responsible Budget

On Friday, 19 June 2026, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Hon. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, presented the 2026/27 National budget. Building on reforms launched in the previous budget, this year`s budgetary exercise aims to make Mauritius “future ready,” guided by four principles: responsibility, solidarity, economic efficiency, and social justice.
