Mark is the Global Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) for Deloitte’s relationship with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). In this role, Mark is responsible for leveraging Deloitte’s worldwide networks and capabilities, to support the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the overall mission of the Olympic Movement.
Mark has more than 35 years of experience leading strategy, operations, and technology transformation programs for a wide range of government, healthcare, and higher education clients in the US and globally. He has led many large-scale, high-complexity technology engagements and is often called upon as an advisor for our client’s most challenging programs. Over more than 30 years with Deloitte, Mark has held numerous client, practice, and executive leadership roles. These former roles include serving as the Global Leader of our Government and Public Services (GPS) Consulting Practice. Prior to joining Deloitte, Mark served as Head of Strategy and Business Planning for the University Hospital of Wales, UK, and as a consultant with a boutique high-tech strategy firm in the UK.
Mark considers himself a global citizen having lived and worked in the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, through his longstanding participation in the Deloitte global network. Mark and his wife live outside Boston, Massachusetts, and have twin children. Mark grew up in the UK and played rugby and football, before turning his focus to mountain biking and cycling. He remains an avid cyclist today and has ridden many of the most famous climbs around the world. Every year, he rides the 200-mile Pan Mass Challenge to raise funds for cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
