  • Start date: 15 September 2026, 17:30 to 20:30

Who should attend?

✅Professional accountants and auditors who work in practice or industry

✅University of Malta BCom graduates (with a major in accounting) with two years relevant work experience

✅Graduates with a relevant degree (attracting at least ACCA qualification exemptions for Financial Accounting (FA), Business and Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA) and Corporate Law (LW) exams – check exemptions calculator here)

✅Non-graduates with three years relevant accounting experience

  • Prepare group financial statements (excluding group cash flow statements) including subsidiaries, associates and joint arrangements.

The syllabus is divided into four sections:

A.  International sources of authority.

B.  Elements of financial statements.

C.  Presentation of financial statements and additional disclosures.

D.  Preparation of external financial reports for combined entities, associates and joint arrangements.

All standards and documents issued prior to 31 August 2025 will be examinable in the December 2026 and June 2027 examination sessions. IFRS 18, Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements and IFRS 19 Subsidiaries without Public Accountability: Disclosure are examinable.

  • DipIFR exam sittings are held twice a year - in June and December. The December 2026 exam sitting will be held on Thursday 3 December 2026.
  • The exam will be computer-based and you need to apply online via myACCA. The exam duration is 3 hours 15 minutes.
  • The overall pass mark for the Diploma in International Financial Reporting is 50%.
  • Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting certificate.
  • You will also be given a certificate of attendance by Deloitte for every session attended, which meets the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements.
  • Full course (including revision lectures): €500 including all lectures and materials.
  • Full course (excluding revision lectures): €400 including materials.
  • Individual sessions: €40 for each session. If booking three or more sessions, the fee per session is €36.

NB: Course fees do not include the ACCA registration fee and exam fee (see next tabs).

  • The ACCA registration fee is £89. 
  • The exam fee is £155.
