The Promotion of Energy Audits in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Scheme (‘The Scheme’), administered by the Energy and Water Agency, has been extended through 2021, with the new extended deadline being 31 December 2021. The Scheme offers a grant to small and medium-sized enterprises following the execution of an energy audit identifying energy consumption and energy improvement opportunities and investments required to reduce such consumption on a daily basis.

The Scheme is divided into two parts, Scheme A for enterprises listed under the de minimis Regulation (Commission Regulation 1407/2013) and Scheme B for enterprises eligible under the General Block Exemption Regulation (Commission Regulation 651/2014).
