The Deloitte ACCA Programme is designed for students who have just completed their A levels as well as those who have completed a degree and wish to pursue an accountancy qualification.

By joining the Deloitte ACCA programme, you will receive continuous support, as well as gain work experience that is vital to achieving a comprehensive understanding of both the profession and the business in which you will be working and contribute to the relevant practical working experience required.

The Deloitte ACCA programme offers a high level of flexibility to students allowing you to:

  • Select your own learning provider/s to suit your learning style;
  • Choose to study full time during the initial period of the programme;
  • Choose to work either full time (Monday to Friday) or reduced hours (Monday to Thursday, with Friday being a study day); and 
  • Identify the service line you would like to gain real-world business experience in.

  • Continuous guidance and support during your studies;
  • Flexibility to choose your own learning provider to suit your learning style;
  • Full time employment with Deloitte with the option to work reduced hours;
  • The option to study full time during the initial period of the Programme;
  • Fully subsidised study courses, material and exams;
  • Salary increments with every successful examination pass;
  • Opportunity to get ACCA qualified within three years;
  • Paid study leave during your ACCA journey;
  • A chance to make an impact that matters by volunteering with the Deloitte Foundation; and
  • Participation in team building activities and social events organised by Deloitte.

Deloitte is an ACCA Approved Employer – Trainee Development – Platinum, in recognition of the support provided to ACCA trainees working towards the ACCA qualification.

Eligibility

 

  • Two A levels and three O levels (or equivalent) in five subjects, which must include English and Mathematics; or
  • A relevant MQF Level 4 certificate and/or MQF level 5 diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance and Insurance, or a related field; or
  • A relevant degree at MQF Level 6/Master’s degree rated at MQF Level 7.

The ACCA Qualification

 

Students progress through three elements of the ACCA Qualification on their journey to become ACCA members. These are:

  1. 13 exams.
  2. An Ethics and Professional Skills module.
  3. A Practical Experience Requirement.

Working with an ACCA Approved Employer - Trainee Development - Platinum, means that Deloitte ACCA trainees may be allowed to claim the performance objective exemption.
