Rachel focuses on international tax consulting and advises both local and multinational clients operating in various industries. Rachel’s main focus is on group restructurings, inbound investment structuring and private equity investments.
Rachel is also the Grants, Credits & Incentives Leader at Deloitte in Malta where her responsibilities include advising clients on grants and incentives available locally as well as EU funding. From a project management perspective, Rachel has been responsible for managing several projects varying in size, budget and number of team members. Her portfolio of engagements for which she has been responsible includes various projects involving several team members and an increased level of complexity and coordination.
Rachel has also served as one of the Deans for the Deloitte Global Tax Conference in 2023 and 2024. She also serves as the International Tax Learning Leader for the EMEA region.
Following the completion of her postgraduate studies, she worked as a teaching assistant at the International Tax Centre in Leiden. Rachel has been admitted to the Maltese Bar and is a member of the Malta Chamber of Advocates. She is also a member of the Malta Institute of Taxation and of the Malta Institute of Financial Services Practitioners. Furthermore, Rachel is the Secretary of the Malta Institute of Taxation.
