Michelle joined Deloitte Malta in 2022. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants, with extensive expertise in accounting and financial management education. She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree from the University of Malta and a Master of Science with distinction in Financial Management from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland.
With over two decades of experience in higher education, Michelle specialises in financial accounting and reporting. She has delivered webinars for ACCA students and conducted numerous technical training sessions for qualified accountants and business professionals.
Michelle is also a senior teaching associate within the Department of Accountancy at the University of Malta. She lectures on financial accounting and reporting, contributing to the development of future professionals in the field of accountancy and finance.
At Deloitte, Michelle is responsible for the development of the strategy around student recruitment. She works closely with the students and ensures they get her dedicated attention and support during their journey to graduate. She also works with the business to ensure that the students have the necessary skills needed for the office of the future.
