Deloitte advises on the sale of WME Middle East and India to Egis Group

Deloitte has successfully advised and supported the owner and management of WME on the sale of their Middle East and India operations to Egis Group, a leading global consulting, construction engineering and operating firm.

WME is one of the region’s leading multi-disciplinary engineering design consultancies focusing on performance, economics and sustainability. They provide innovative, sustainable and cost-effective solutions in civil, structural, mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP), AV/IT and security, architect of record and infrastructure engineering services for the built environment.

The acquisition complements Egis Group’s existing portfolio of multidisciplinary engineering, project management services and the general engineering buildings services, by enhancing the company's end-to-end capabilities in the Middle East as clients look to improve building and infrastructure project efficiencies while reducing their environmental impact.

“We are delighted to have supported the owner of WME Middle East on his successful exit to Egis Group. This transaction further demonstrates our commitment to regional SMEs seeking a business sale to an international buyer,” said Mark Taylor, Corporate Finance Advisory, Deloitte Middle East, who led the M&A team advising WME.

“WME has distinguished itself as a leading player in specialised engineering consultancy in the region. We are very pleased to have successfully advised them on this transaction and we are excited about the opportunities that this partnership with Egis Group unlocks,” said Sami Faloughi, Corporate Finance Advisory, Deloitte Middle East.
