Robin Butteriss

Robin Butteriss leads Deloitte’s Strategy & Transactions practice in the Middle East, overseeing a team of specialists in M&A, Valuation & Modelling, Infrastructure & Real Estate, Turnaround & Restructuring, and Sustainability. A trusted advisor to C-suite executives, he helps organizations navigate critical financial decisions and drive sustainability-focused transformations.

Robin started his career with Deloitte in 1995 in Toronto, then moved to London in 1998 before joining the Middle East practice in 2008. His expertise covers M&A, debt and capital advisory, infrastructure finance, and business restructuring, and he has played a key role in some of the region’s most significant and pioneering deals.

Robin’s leadership has helped set industry best practices across the UAE, Qatar and KSA, where he has advised on high-value transactions and transformative business initiatives. A Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant with an honors degree from Queen’s University, he continues to shape the financial advisory landscape with his deep expertise and strategic insights.
