Engagement summary

The client has extensive recruitment needs, processing more than 35,000 CVs to fill more than 400 positions per year. All vacancies are published on the client’s websites, generating a significant workload to screen, longlist and ultimately shortlist the candidates before inviting them for an on-site interview.

The client was seeking an external provider to implement screening tools for its recruitment and selection process, including aptitude tests, personality questionnaires, and assessment centers tailored to the client’s competency framework.

The scope of the engagement included all the client’s recruitment and selection campaigns (recruitment tools), as well as the selection of managerial positions (assessment centers) and development centers.
 

Delivery approach

To provide the client with recruitment selection tools, assessment centers, and development centers, Deloitte performed the following activities:

  • Established a consortium with a leading provider of state-of-the-art recruitment and selection tools.
  • Designed and delivered assessment centers and development centers in recruiting and selection or developmental contexts. We used a tailored approach that combined different tools, including structured interviews, psychometric tests, competency assessments and simulation exercises.
  • Provided individual assessment reports highlighting the strengths and development areas of each candidate under the client’s competency framework.

  • The client is able to use the data from the recruitment selection tools and assessment centers to make better and more informed recruitment and selection decisions.
