On 19 December 2020, Luxembourg’s 2021 budget law, including the reduced Subscription Tax Rate, was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies and published in the Official Journal on 23 December 2020. The subscription tax rate for Luxembourg investment funds has been reduced for sustainable environmental investments, as defined by EU Taxonomy Regulation 2020/852, under Article 174 of the amended UCI Law.

We provide the necessary deliverables required by the tax authority to enable funds to apply the reduced subscription tax rate, including reasonable assurance on client-prepared data on the proportion of taxonomy aligned assets, and attestation reports to be submitted to the tax authority.
