Embracing our roots, shaping tomorrow

A legacy of 75 years in Luxembourg

Our story begins with a purpose: to make an impact that matters. This is a belief our founder, William Welch Deloitte, held in 1845 when he set out to build an enduring firm rooted in innovation, collaboration, and progress. From a small London accountancy practice, his vision grew into a global organisation of over 460,000 professionals, united by the same mission today.

In Luxembourg, we are proudly celebrating 75 years of local presence. What started in the 1950s as a modest firm known as “l’Agence” has grown alongside the country’s rise as a financial hub. Now with over 2,700 professionals, Deloitte Luxembourg continues to evolve, driven by agility, expertise, and a commitment to our clients' and society’s greatest challenges.

As we mark this milestone, we honour our legacy and look ahead with the same entrepreneurial spirit and purpose that defined our beginnings.
