Celebrating women's leadership and achievements

quote story1

"When women gather to talk about their thoughts, ambitions, and experiences, you can see sparks of inspiration fly. The magic of connection and dedicated support is palpable, and the impact of WIL will only continue to grow.”

Sandrine Muller, Partner and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leader, Deloitte Luxembourg

Over the course of the last fiscal year and beyond, Deloitte Luxembourg has taken the opportunity to celebrate not only the achievements of women in our own workforce, but to amplify the power of women-led endeavours in the community at large.

Women in/to Leadership Initiative

Officially launched on International Women’s Day on 8 March 2022, Deloitte’s Women in/to Leadership (WIL) initiative is dedicated to fostering female talent through mentorship, workshops, and networking events. It provides a structured environment for women across all service lines to grow their networks, learn from experts, and gain the necessary skills to step into leadership roles within Deloitte, while also connecting its members to external initiatives in the community at large.

Participants in the WIL initiative benefit from:

  • Mentorship programs that build impactful relationships between mentors and mentees, strengthening their internal network
  • Workshops that enhance collaboration and confidence-building through sessions facilitated by both internal and external specialists
  • Internal and external networking events that offer platforms for women to share experiences and inspire each other to reach higher in their careers

We are proud to have hosted six different events in the last fiscal year. To date, the initiative has 160 active members and 22 mentor/mentee pairings.

International Women’s Day 2024: A journey of taste and talent

On 7 March 2024, Deloitte Luxembourg transformed its top floor into a haven of gourmet delights and inspiring stories. This year’s event highlighted the contributions of local women who have flexed their entrepreneurial prowess to significantly influence the world of gastronomy in Luxembourg and beyond.

Attendees sampled Lola Valerius’ unique chocolate pralines, savoured wines curated by Charline Wengler, and tasted Léa Linster’s sweet madeleines while hearing about the hard work, creativity, and resolve that was required of these remarkable business women.
