Celebrating women’s leadership and achievements

2025 Deloitte Luxembourg Impact Report

Deloitte Luxembourg continues to celebrate the women shaping our organisation and community. What began as a single initiative has evolved into a dynamic platform that nurtures talent, fosters connection, and amplifies the impact efforts led by women both within and beyond our organisation.

Women in/to Leadership: Growing together

Officially launched on 8 March 2022, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, our Women in/to Leadership (WIL) initiative aims to build a growing network of strong and connected professionals who are committed and passionate about attracting, retaining, and advancing female talent into leadership positions. Through concrete actions, including mentorships, workshops and networking opportunities, WIL accompanies women throughout their careers at Deloitte, helping to connect, empower, and inspire them at every stage of professional journey.

In FY25, WIL hosted several impactful events and welcomed approximately 220 active members.

  • International Women’s Day “Accelerate Action” – 5 March: A hybrid event with both a live and streaming session, featured Kristina Schou Madsen, the record-breaking Danish ultra-runner, who shared her insights on resilience, motivation, and the power of taking action.
  • Mentorship events – 27 May and 24 June:  WIL held the third and fourth editions of its Mentorship Series, bringing together more than 120 participants, from junior professionals to partners, for an engaging speed-networking format. These short, focused mentor–mentee conversations helped forge meaningful connections and underscored WIL’s commitment to providing tailored support at every career stage.
  • Workshops: WIL organised several practical workshops, including a particular one on elevating LinkedIn presence. This hands-on session guided participants through self-reflection, personal branding fundamentals, profile enhancement, and content creation, helping them boost visibility and influence on professional networks. Another workshop united senior female members for an interactive skills-building session aimed at overcoming cognitive biases and gaining fresh perspectives on their individual challenges.

International Women’s Day 2025: A taste of talent

This year’s International Women’s Day celebration, held under the theme “Accelerate Action,” brought colleagues together to be inspired by Kristina Schou Madsen’s extraordinary journey. From summiting Mount Kilimanjaro to completing seven marathons in seven days on seven continents, Kristina shared how dedication, resilience and mental strength can drive peak performance.

In her keynote speech, Kristina highlighted the importance of self-awareness and balance, reminding participants that pushing one’s limits need not come at the expense of personal well-being. Her story left colleagues motivated and inspired to reach their full potential, both professionally and personally.
